The COAST Center offers specialized psychotherapy services for children with OCD, anxiety, and related disorders, as well as support for parents of children facing challenges with anxiety. We offer evidence-based treatment approaches applied in a comprehensive, personalized manner to tailor treatment specifically for your child and family.

OUR VALUES
Evidence-Based
We provide research-backed therapies shown to be effective and widely accepted as the gold-standard treatments for anxiety, OCD, and related disorders. Read more about our specific treatment approaches below.
Personalized
We don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach; rather, evidence-based treatment principles are thoughtfully and flexibly applied to help clients and families achieve their unique goals in keeping with their personal needs and values.
Collaborative
We believe that parents are the experts on their children, and caregiver involvement is often a critical part of successful treatment. We also prioritize communication with other providers to ensure high quality, comprehensive care for your child.
Transparent
Navigating mental health care can be confusing - we strive to be clear and transparent in our communication with families every step of the way. Our goal is for clients and families to feel empowered as active collaborators in the treatment process.

Caregiver Coaching & Groups
We offer specialized support for parents and caregivers of children with anxiety and OCD. Many parents feel confused or overwhelmed about how to help their anxious child while also encouraging them to build bravery and resilience. Dr. Evans is trained in SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Child Emotions), a parent-focused approach specifically designed to equip parents with tools and language to help their child overcome anxiety, OCD or related problems. Parents can receive support individually or through our regular group offerings.
