ABOUT
DR. BRITT EVANS
Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Meet Dr. Evans

Dr. Brittney (Britt) Evans is the founder and director of the COAST Center. Dr. Evans is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in helping children, adolescents, and their families navigate challenges with anxiety, OCD, tic disorders, disruptive behaviors, and related concerns such as sleep difficulties and body-focused repetitive behaviors (e.g., hair pulling, skin picking). She is passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers children and parents to build skills, resilience, and confidence.

Education and Training 

Dr. Evans earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Drexel University with a specialization in Clinical Child Psychology.  Dr. Evans completed advanced clinical training in outpatient clinics, schools, and two children’s hospitals, including nationally ranked Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She trained at the Child/Adolescent OCD, Tic, Trich, and Anxiety Group (COTTAGe) at the University of Pennsylvania under Dr. Marty Franklin, a world-renowned expert in pediatric OCD and anxiety. Dr. Evans completed her predoctoral internship at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where she received further specialized training in anxiety and OCD. Dr. Evans went on to complete a postdoctoral fellowship at Chicago Psychotherapy, PLLC, providing evidence-based treatment to children and families in private practice. Prior to her graduate training, Dr. Evans received her B.A. with distinction in Psychology from Amherst College and completed a research fellowship at the National Institute of Mental Health.
